I’ve been an active member on Photocrowd since it started and have entered many many competitions on there. Until now I have not been successful in winning any of them, as the amount of talent on there is incredible.
If you look at my profile on Photocrowd you can see my progression as a photographer over the years and it appears the experts and judges at Photocrowd can see that too.
I finally had an image worthy of the Expert Winner title in the Health and Fitness competition. Woohoo! Receiving notification of this win was an awesome surprise as I was not expecting it. The other images in the running were excellent. I guess my image connected with the expert just enough to take the win as you see from his comments below;
"I connect with this image on so many levels. Clearly an exceptional composition by all artistic and photographic standards, but the ethereal atmosphere and soft color pallet of the treatment evoke a great deal of feeling and emotion to me as a viewer. The image is calming and inviting - I would very much like to visit this place to take in its natural beauty and serenity. Well done!"

I am so happy to have my image chosen as the winner and for the great comments/feedback. And if winning wasn’t enough I found out the other image I entered was also Commended. Another great result.
