It has been nearly two months now since my family and I moved to the beautiful Lake District, UK.
A couple of weeks ago my family and I set off to hike up Cat Bells in the Lake District for the first time. We took the route where you take a short boat ride from Keswick to Hawes End across Derwentwater. Only a small boat trip but the views are spectacular. Next there is a hike up to the top of Cat Bells, oh and part of the way up there is some climbing involved. I am pleased to say the climb is not too difficult, however it was a little tricky on the way back down.
The success of the walk was a little mixed. Only my son Haithe and I managed to get to the top for one reason or another. We will be back to make sure we all complete the climb, adding it to our list of Wainwrights completed.
During our adventure to Cat Bells I took some video and photos on my iPhone 7 and then had a go at putting it all together for you to enjoy.
