About a month ago I went on a Readers Workshop for Digital SLR Photography Magazine with professional photographer James Abbott (https://www.jamesaphoto.co.uk), and the magazine (Issue 154 - September 2019) with me in it has finally been released. I’ve been very excited about seeing the finished article and being able to share it with everyone. It has been very difficult not to say anything and share all the photos I took on the day before the magazine article was official.
The workshop took place in the Lake District National Park, where I have lived for just over a year. I still can’t get over the fact that I live there now, it is such an amazing place. We visited three places for the magazine article, Ashness Bridge, Rydal Falls, and Scale Force. I have been to Ashness Bridge before, however, the other two locations were new to me and given their photographic potential I was surprised I hadn’t been already. I do enjoy exploring new locations though, so this was a lot of fun for me.
Great company, changing weather conditions and fantastic locations made for a thoroughly enjoyable day of photography.
If you pick up a copy of the magazine, let me know what you think.
Here are some of the images I captured on the day.
